Let Governor Ritter hear from you on workplace discrimination
Yesterday, the legislature sent Senate Bill 25 to Governor Ritter for his signature. SB25 will prohibit workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation and religion. State law already prohibits bias against employees because of disability, race, creed, color, sex, age or national origin.
SB25 is about creating basic fairness in the workplace for all Coloradans. Governor Ritter has indicated that he will sign this bill into law, but he will face tremendous opposition from the radical right. We want the Governor to know we support him and this important legislation.
