Republicans tend to view the government as their private property. When they lose an election, they see themselves as being victims of some sort of injustice.
Musgrave, Limbaugh, Hannity, and their ilk are as incapable of respecting the will of the voters, who would deprive them of that which is rightfully theirs, as normal people are of reaching out to those who might murder our children to offer them another.
There are already wingnut calls for the impeachment of Obama, so palpable is the sense of unfairness and injustice on the part of those who resent the legitimate exercise of democracy.
These people are hard-wired to take, take, take. It's all they understand. It's sort of like a Republican-specific disability. If they weren't trying to destroy the country, they would be deserving of our sympathy, but their particular pathology is too dangerous and destructive to be offered that type of quarter.
