Democrats Work for Massive Tree Planting

Ok kids, its that time of year again. Let's get out into the community to plant some trees along Speer Blvd to beautify and oxygenate the Mile-Hi City!

When: Wednesday, April 23rd 2008, at 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Where: Meet at the Sculpture Park on Speer
Speer Blvd. and Champa St.
Denver, CO
What: Join Democrats Work volunteers, Denver Parks and Rec, the DNCC Host Committee, the Alliance for Sustainable Colorado, and others to plant 150 trees on Auraria and Speer in honor of Earth Day.
Volunteers will meet at the Sculpture Park (big white dancing "aliens") on Speer at 9:30am, the mayor will address us at 10:00am, and we will plant trees until 1:00pm. Afterwards, volunteers are invited to enjoy a free lunch at Ted's Montana Grill.
Equipment will be provided. Grab a friend and let's go green! Look for the group in the blue DW t-shirts.
