I discovered this story while scanning through the "Democratic Party Builder" blogs. High praise to "Retired Army" for breaking this out.
Our wise neighbor David often enlightens us with his "required reading" messages. This one qualifies as required viewing; if you have the fortitude to watch it straight through in one sitting.

The power and grace of Kaziah Hancock's actions and the spirit she displays in her cause is monumental. She is an example of a truly caring and patriotic American.
According to the reporter (astonishing that he is uncredited) she has bestowed her gift of art upon 250 grieving families. While she refuses to accept payment from those families, the Nation that allowed them to sacrifice their lives in war still has a great debt to pay.
I think I heard her say, "...that you may never be forgotten." Sacred words that we all need to remember.
