One of the (few) things I've gotten done this morning so far today is to set up our county re-org meeting, something the state Dem party rules says must happen between Feb 1-15. This is where they elect officers and such. So if you have a hankering to get involved in your county party and encourage more leftward motion, it would be a good idea to go here and see when the meeting is scheduled that is relevant to your interests.

Added for the heck of it: I have been trying hard to post something every day at Code Neon Blue, just putting up something fun or interesting if there is nothing local to write about. As is so often the case.

Plus: I Twittered a link today to my personal recipe for quite delicious Hot and Sour Soup, in honor of Chinese New Year. Gong Hoy Fa Choi!

Double Plus: Past Posts (Personal, not Political): This week on The Neon Nurse's Charting I helped Mike make a cell, reviewed a very good book, talked about the 'Rockeration' (TM MikeSpeak) and Twittered a lot. Feel free to drop by and read, if you like.

Go, Re-Org, Go

Your County Party Reorganization meeting is an important demonstration of support and sustaining the momentum into future years. Reorganization is too often a mis-leading title. What is needed in most of our counties is organization, responsibility and leadership. Start at your county meeting, beomce a delegate to the state meeting and add your voice and talents to the committees and caucuses leading the way for our state.
