Yesterday I sent out an e-mail encouraging people to contact their congresspeople and encourage them to support the President's healthcare plan, including a public option. As with all liberals, you lie.  A public option--aka socialized medicine--will not control costs in the long run.  If you want meaningful reform that will really control costs, why don't you support tort reform?  You liberals get so uptight about greedy business and greedy doctors, but you are perfectly comfortable with greedy lawyers.  But if you would get greedy lawyers out of medicine so that doctors wouldn't have to pay so much for malpractice insurance, medical costs would plummet, and that would achieve what you deceptively claim you are trying to achieve.  You know you can never achieve socialized medicine honestly, so you are willing to tell whatever lies you think are necessary in order to dupe Americans into accepting it.  But the majority of Americans know that socialized medicine has failed in its objectives in every single country in which it has been tried.  Why in the world do you want to add the United States to the list of countries that have tried it and choked on it?
