Art Kane in the Post:

Since 1999, (Owens' Chief of Staff Roy) Palmer has accepted more gifts than any other member of Gov. Bill Owens' Cabinet, including $13,690 worth of sporting-event tickets and other gifts from various companies and people last year....

....Owens has taken nearly $100,000 in speaking fees since 1998, and thousands more in tickets, dinners and other gifts, including Avalanche tickets from CIBER.

Which brings to mind the fact that Owens' is the featured speaker at David Horowitz (of Faculty Quota fame)' upcoming Restoration Weekend, November 13 - 16 in Palm Beach.

Who's paying for that? Is this why Owens' will appear alongside Horowitz at Horowitz' paid Metro State gig this Tuesday?

Hmmm...
