Jeffco bars Paschall from posting info on county website;
After a two-hour closed session with County Attorney Bill Tuthill and senior staff, the three county commissioners decided that an existing county policy prohibits such use of the website.
Any items that are posted "must pertain to the business of that (county) department," said commission chairman Rick Sheehan.
Requests to include materials on the website must first be reviewed by the county public information office. If there are disputes, the board will decide whether the information will be posted.
Paschall's materials "are political in nature and are not related to his department and its focus," Sheehan said.
The GOP is getting tired of this ongoing embarassment;
Commissioner Pat Holloway said she has enjoyed her differences with Paschall, but says now, "This is not fun. I'm tired. ... I just want him to do his job. If he wants to run for another office, fine. Do this job now and let the rest of us do our jobs."
