The news coverage this morning is superficial and offers little in real evidence or conclusions. "Harmless powder" in an envelope is too much to accept.
This incident needs to come to conclusion, there are too many variable outcomes:
- Misguided liberal wanting to inflict some "pain and confusion" on the McCain Campaign
- Misguided conservative willing to victimize campaign workers to get a few minutes of fame
- Deliberate conservative act to gain sympathy for the GOP before the start of the DNC and ratchet-up suspicion of free speech events
- Revenge act by a discharged campaign worker
