Caldara's "bitch-slapped" comment

Earlier this week, John Caldara, a local right-wing host on Denver's 850 KOA radio, discussed the presidential candidate debates. During his talk, he asked his guest on-air whether it "was it fair to say" that Senator Clinton (NY) "got bitch-slapped tonight?" (The Jon Caldara Show, Newsradio 850 KOA, evening broadcast 1/21/2008)
Did he really say "bitch slapped"? I know he's a talk show host. I know he pushes the envelope. But bitch slapped? He went too far. This comment rivals Imus' "nappy headed hoes" comment.
We, as Coloradans should be outraged. And we should not stand for this hateful commentary.
Not only was this comment demeaning to women, it minimizes the severity of domestic violence women across Colorado experience.

Threatening a advertiser? It's a free market and advertisers are free to advertise wherever they choose. The people who listen to a particular radio host agree with most of that host opinions, I don't see a lot of so called progressive radio programs because they don't succeed, it's amazing the number of advertiser who advertise on so called right wing radio, it's where radio makes it's money, just like magazines and newspapers. Progressive radio programs fail because they can get the numbers that right wing host get and that translates to sales in advertising.
Why is it that if someone like Snoop Dogg says the bitch ought to be bitch slapped or any other rapper or musician, progressive talk show host, or actor on a television can say bitch slapped and not be admonished for it in the same way.
A perfect example is the show Supernatural, the one sibling on that show is always saying bitch slapped to both men and women on that show, and where is your outrage. People who follow political correctness will eventually purge themselves out of existence.
If I'm not mistaken Mr. Caldera was talking to a female caller who agreed with Mr. Caldera, and she even went on to call the Clintons monsters. Isn't monster a word used to describe a serial killer, rapist or murderer. I was more offended by Bill Clinton trying to redefine oral sex, by saying he "Never had sexual relations with that woman.", when did that act not become a sexual act, if you get it from a prostitute on the street you'll goto jail, and if I'm not mistaken, there was a baseball player on the Colorado Rockies fired for engaging in the same act. Judge everyone by their actions and words equally or don't do it at all.
