Big Colorado news day

Between Tim Brown and Ted Haggard, some out of sight activities have had some light thrown on them in the past day.
Tim Brown tried to keep Bill Winter's ad from airing on his radio station. Because he didn't like the implications of Tancredo's long-term relationship with hate groups revealed too far. Which, if the press actually did its damn job, wouldn't be such a big deal. Since they won't, it looks like we'll need to rely on candidates to tell us the truth about incumbents. Sorry Mad-Tom, you're little soirees with these groups will eventually bring you down.
Tim Brown also lied to the Rocky Mtn News about this little issue, which isn't too surprising. Turns out he was in violation of FCC regulations regarding federal office-seekers getting air time. Turns out Timmy has donated to every Republican candidate running this year in Colorado. Listen up Timmie: just because you don't agree with the POV of the ad doesn't mean you get to decide if your radio station gets to play it on taxpayer funded airwaves.
Oreo's post at SquareState as well as the post at dKos has caused quite the stir. And why not? A prominent member of the right's evangelical movement, despite railing against the unholiness of homosexuality in his church, seems to have a problem following his own advice. What's the deal? He might have had relations with another man from Denver. Oh, and he paid for those relations. What is it with Republicans and gay prostitutes anyway?
For the record, I fully support the prostitute's actions. This church leader speaks with the Preznit every day and helps lead an organization that reaches something like 30 million evangelical Americans. Here we go bumpkin: paying for gay sex and preaching against it every Sunday is hypocritical. It's further evidence of the complete lack of morality of all you crazy fundies. Quit trying to legislate how people should lead their lives and spend more time on your own, 'kay?
Who knows what tomorrow will bring...
