There are tons of tabling and "tenting" opportunities at street fairs, feastival, parties and events. One of the biggest and best for us has been the annual Gay Pride event each summer in Colo. Springs. We distribute hundreds of fliers, collect names of wanna-be activists, and distribute buttons and sticker with progressive messages. We use a commerce model. We prefer to working in the Colorado Springs area, but would love to reach further to other parts of the state. If we had 3 teams for 4 people each we could make tens of thousands of contacts each year. We also promote the same ideas and messages throughout north america and the world via our web sites. We could use people to work these events (prepare, pack, haul, unload, setup material. Then interact with the public. Then pack it all up and return the material to storage.
