Leave Swastika Guy Alone

Dear ProgressNow Colorado

I don't have a problem with people comparing Obama to a Hitler or a Nazi because that tactic is tired, cliche, and really doesn't apply to Obama. I don't feel like we have to call people out for using silly and harmless tactics and arguments against President Obama. We shouldn't waste our time on silly matters like this. After all, Swastika Guy is just exercising his freedom of speech. To condemn the imagery of this sign is also hypocritical considering the many times Bush or his administration was compared to Hitler or fascism without comment from ProgressNow. Please reconsider this campaign against Swastika Guy so we can focus on more important issues.

To conclude, here is a nice little video clip from a 2005 episode of The Daily Show. Jon Stewart uses many examples of accusations of Hitler to back up his argument.
