One progressive's take on darn near everything.

A couple of days ago, I posted a summary about David Sirota's book, "Hostile Takeover: How Big Money & Corruption Conquered Our Government - and How We Take It Back". The more I get involved in political activism, the more I realize that too many decisions are being made by too few people that control very large sums of money. A group of folks from Boulder County decided earlier this year to do some work out in Longmont to try and help get Angie Paccione get elected for Colorado's 4th Congressional District.

Along the way, we received some local press attention. In the past month, enough volunteers showed up every Saturday morning so that as of today, the Paccione Project completed its goals.

This morning saw about 30 people show up and we needed all of them because we walked in three precincts.
