Lieberman give's Bush pass on Katrina

I caught this off Talkingpointsmemo.com about Liberman and his attitude of enabling the racists in Bush's administration, including Bush.

The conduct by Bush and his minons with the natural disaster of Hurricane Katrina is criminal.

For this crime alone against helpless Americans he and his cohorts should be investigated.

This from Josh Marshall:

Shocking, right?

From Newsweek ...
Sen. Joe Lieberman, the only Democrat to endorse President Bush’s new plan for Iraq, has quietly backed away from his pre-election demands that the White House turn over potentially embarrassing documents relating to its handling of the Hurricane Katrina disaster in New Orleans.

Lieberman’s reversal underscores the new role that he is seeking to play in the Senate as the leading apostle of bipartisanship, especially on national-security issues. On Wednesday night, Bush conspicuously cited Lieberman’s advice as being the inspiration for creating a new “bipartisan working group” on Capitol Hill that he said will “help us come together across party lines to win the war on terror.”

Is it any wonder that Lieberman should be despised?

He is an enabler of criminal conduct that has affected tens of thousands of his fellow citizens. But Liberman the "statesman" is more concerned with being a lickspittle to Bush and not for bring his buddy Bush to justice for Bush's inaction(s) that has resulted in the unnecessary deaths of thousands of Americans.

Lieberman is a racist as surely as wearing a white robe and hood.

Tell Lieberman what you think of his morally bankrupt inaction here.
