7:30AM: If you live in the Fort Collins area you might be getting recorded messages bashing Angie Paccione who is running for Congress opposite Marilyn Musgrave. The message claims an ethics investigation would be launched on Paccione. We will clear everything up with Representative Paccione.
Joining Jay will be friend of the show Bill Winter who is running for Congress against Tom Tancredo in District 6.
Should American workers be asked to get by on just $5.15 per hour? Democrats in Congress don't think so. That's why this week they are launching an effort to try and give American workers a raise. By employing a special parliamentary tactic, Democrats in the House of Representatives will attempt to force a debate and a vote on raising the national minimum wage from $5.15 per hour to $7.25 per hour. Congress hasn't raised the minimum wage since 1997 - and the wage is now at its lowest level in over half a century. Joining Jay is Representative John Tierney who is serving his fifth term in Congress representing the Sixth Congressional District of Massachusetts.
From 7:00 to 9:00 AM On Wednesday March 15th Jay has special in studio guests Ed Perlmutter, Herb Rubenstein and Peggy Lamm. All are highly qualified candidates running for Congress in highly contested District 7. It will be a special roundtable discussion plus listeners will have a chance to ask the candidates their own questions.
